What happens when a giant cybersquid meets a solution for better MPG which is taking the internet by storm?
Well maybe we should clarify our terms lol.
First, Squidoo – it is an enormously popular internet thingy.
And it is Humongous!!
And it has one of the most complete FAQ pages I have ever seen which is a good place for you to go and get more answers.
But basically what Squidoo does is gives everyone an opportunity to create a page where they can rant about their area of expertise or obsession within a community where there have been almost 500,000 pages hand made by users in a very short period of time.
It is part of the Web 2.0 that you have been hearing about… social networking.
The major appeal of Squidoo is functionality. It enables you to do many things that you can’t do on My Space, Facebook and other sites. For instance, if you have a blog someplace else, you don’t have the ability to suck in the recent headlines from that blog to your MySpace page but Squidoo is set up for you to do that. And it makes it real easy to meet a lot of other freaky people who share your area of expertise or obsession or who want to!
So, finally, yesterday, I created a Squidoo page for Water4Gas…oops, sorry, it’s a lens, not a page. I forgot. Here you will find the most recent blog postings from several Water4Gas blogs. You will find Water4Gas videos which are on YouTube and various other links of Water4Gas related websites. It’s all there in a very small amount of space but without looking cluttered or congested.
