Divorce is something that no one has the desire to go through. It's a hard situation that many people have to find the courage to get through. Most of the time there are hard feelings between the ex-lovers and many times the couple will still get along quite well.

It's tough to tell what may happen and sometimes you just have to wait and see how it's going to go. The ball is in your court and you need to make the best choices possible.

One thing is for sure; once the divorce is final, you do not need to be getting intimate with your ex. This is not something that is wise because of the many issues that will come along with it. You want to distance yourself so that you are free and able to move on swiftly to better things.

You should try to be friends with your ex. This should be for obvious reasons. When things go friendlier, you will find it to be a lot easier to get things done. You can definitely kill them with kindness, however you don't want to be so kind that you are risking your overall health and well being for any reason. You shouldn't want to get involved with the conspiracy of having sex with your ex husband/wife when you're attempting to rebuild your current life and make something better for the future.

When you're attempting to restructure your life, you should do the right things. You need to make the best choices for you and your family, so that you won't be putting anyones well being at risk. This may also include your ex husband/wife. When you're still continuing on an intimate relationship with your ex husband/wife, you will discover that you might be setting one of you up for a major fall. This is definitely not something that you should be attempting at this stage of the game.

A divorce can be a situation that will more than likely be very complicated and when you're also having sexual relations with your ex-husband/wife, you're only making the situation a lot more complicated. You really need to make positive that you're severing these ties and making it clear that you're not interested in this part of your life anymore. You need to of course make sure of this prior to file for the divorce, but having sexual relations should definitely not be the biggest thing that truly matters with a relationship. You do not want to deal with too many different things when you already have so much to deal with already. You want to be careful and make the best decisions that you're sure you can make in the end. There is so much life out there and when you're divorced, you're able to take it all on. You shouldn't continue holding on to the past even if it's comfortable at the current time. You want to get out in the world so that you can find out who you are and what your goals and dreams are in life. This is one of the only ways that you can make your new life a huge success. This is going to be worth the self-control that you should have when it comes to keeping yourself from having sexual relations with your ex-wife/husband.
