Anyone in search of the perfect beach might very well start with the Islands of The Bahamas, whose moderately small land mass belies the sheer quantity of its beachfront, with pearl like white sand beaches and clear blue waters. While on the beaches, on either side of you--the only colors in the world will be markedly varied shades of blue, green and white. Not to be missed are the islands with unusual names like Ragged Island, Rum Cay, Conception Island, Exuma, Big Farmer's Cay and Great Sayle Cay.

Where Nassau is a blend of the old and new, Freeport/Lucaya is a modernistic planned city, and is situated on the the Bahamas' second most popular tourist destination: the Island of Grand Bahama.

Since there are so many islands in such close propinquity in The Bahamas, many visitors choose to visit more than one.
