When you see everyone waiting for the newest video game system, you might wonder want happens to all of those old systems? Well, many people toss them out along with games that aren’t compatible any more.

Those used systems are still out there. Some may be hard to find, but once you seek one out online, you need to figure out if it’s worth buying.

One of the best old games for kids that they can take around with them is the Gameboy Advance. It is made for kids and offers a variety of games for them to enjoy.

The great benefit of this system? You can hand it to your kids on a long trip, bring a bunch of Gameboy Advance games with you and they’ll be focused on it for the whole time.

The Playstation System
The classic Sony Playstation is out there too and when you get it you will discover that it’s one of the best consoles available. There are so many games for the Playstation 1 you will be amazed at what you can play.

If you want to double your experience, check out the Playstation 2, which allows you to play PS2 and PS1 games. That really expands the value of your dollar. There are a lot of games you’ll remember – like Tomb Raider, Gex and other all-time favorites.

The Xbox System
Finally, if you can get yourself a used Xbox console, you will find another chance at some great time gaming. Talk about some of the all-time games. If you get an Xbox, you will be able to play games like Halo and Oddworld.

Make sure when you invest in an Xbox console that you get an extra controller. That will make it worth it and will allow you and your friends to take advantage of the Xbox’s multiplayer, Internet options.

Which of these hard-to-find games you decide to track down and buy is entirely up to you and what kind of games and gameplay interests you. The bottom line is that you are going to save a lot of money and have a lot of games ready to be played.
