A routine Saturday in the life of Ozzie Freedom in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County was something I had the privilege to experience the other day. Well, actually not a whole day, just an afternoon. But it really was something unique.
I had not had an opportunity to participate in one of his Saturday afternoon “Open Hoods”. Well that isn’t the name that he gives them, that is my own vernacular spin. Basically, though, it is an open invitation to the community to visit his “hood” and open the hood of his Toyota and see the Water4Gas system in operation and see for yourself that it works and get any questions answered. I really had no idea what I would see. I thought maybe I would find a handful of alternative energy geeks talking geekonian words at each other at best. I was so wrong. It was like forty alternative energy geeks talking geekonian words at each other! Ok, am just teasing. It was around 35-50 bright, normal people looking for a better way for powering their cars who came to share ideas or to find out what is is all about and something that will help them envision a happier future for us all. And they were all types of people with different degrees of comprehension of Water4Gas and other such information. The quest for knowledge and the fundamental decency andoptimism was quite high and was the primary thread that they had in common. And these forty or so individuals had several cars with alternative configurations to show anyone who wanted to see. Basically, it rocked! And Ozzie was EXTREMELY helpful and contributive and unassuming and fun. If you are in Los Angeles some Saturday afternoon and would like to see a better world being born just come on by!

For those who are unfamiliar, WATER4GAS is sharing information at a low price which car owners can use in their garage or wherever to create a small device which infuses hydrogen into the gas/air mixture that their car runs on.
