If you are interested in the music and everything that is connected with it, ‘Rehearsal’ is what you need to read. This book is about a story of the rock band ‘Raucous’. It was very popular in the 70es. So, young Evan Scott invites Duncan O’Neil to take part in the band. Evan hopes that with a help of Duncan artistic playing, their band will be very popular. The problems start when a young friend of Evan, Susie Brooks, meets Duncan. There can be no doubts that Evan and Susie love each other, but they are afraid to confess in it. Thus, Duncan finds a good way out, he starts dating with Susie. In the same time, Evan does not what to feel, he is either confused or disappointed.
I spite of the bid length of the novel, and the fact that it is a bit time consuming to read it, you are sure to take pleasure, since there expressed all the problems of those times. So, what you should do is to read the novel in order to feel the atmosphere expressed in it. Besides, if you read it by yourself, you will be able to decide from your own experience whether it is worth reading or not.
